Ready for the weekend....?

I am! Tomorrow I'm off to an all day crop! Hopeing to accomplish bunches....but I will be happy if I can simply make a couple pages and sort photos. I am SO far behind in organizing photos. Baby #2 really threw off my organization of photos. Now I take twice as many...and it's chaos!

Scary...actually! :-)

Here's a simple card...using one of Unity's itty bitty's...testing out different colors that I normally use. Plus trying to use paper I have...and in the end this card will work great for a friend that LOVES the color orange.

I love fabric & cards...so I grabed a piece of canvas I dyed back at Easter time with left over egg dye to stamp the sentiment.

(speaking of dyeing eggs...my 4 year old asked today at lunch to dye eggs...so I may break down and let her color eggs this week...just to keep her from asking me every day between now and Easter. ha! of course then this could back fire on me where she may decide she wants to color eggs more often)

The card didn't come out just how I hoped...but that is the way things go...trying not to focus on things being so perfect ...since we are in a not so perfect world.

Good Morning....

Hope you had a great weekend...and kept cool. Yesterday was another 107 degree day here. Yucky! I like summer...but that is just too hot to enjoy!

So...I stayed in - cleaned a portion of my desk off and created a bit.

Hello Thursday...Last Day of June!

Wow....one month of summer gone....and oh how July is going to fly I'm afraid.

So much going on around here.

Garden growing....growing and growing...amazingly with our 100 degree heat!

If they all can push thru the heat I'll probably be starting canning season before I know it. Green beans, carrots, zucchini relish, salsa, tomatoes, potatoes and who knows what else. I just did 2 batches of Yummy Strawberry Jam....so warmed up and ready to dive it I suppose. ha!

Well - here is a little card I made in celebration of the Fourth of July.

Happy Wednesday....

Right now...I'm thinkin "seriously" another HOT DAY! Weather man is talking 109 today. This is more like late July or August weather. I guess it'll be an early morning out to the garden before the heat hits.

Good Morning....

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend & Father's day!

I spent most of my weekend vending at a local jubilee. I was a good weekend for me - as I got a bit of crafting done between sales - so I'll have a few cards and creations to share this week & next. The only draw back was a bit of sun (forgot the cover for my tent & sunscreen) Oophs! & Ouch! to me - sunburnt a bit.

This is a bit late - but here is a Father's Day card I created in the midst of the weekend.

I finally felt like the inspiration clicked! This was created for the {ippity} challenge in April...however time didn't get it loaded till now. I am wondering if that is what I need to do...find challenges to get the creativity flowing. It took me having something to focus on to get things going.

Hi! I've been a bit occupied with family and sickness this past month....now time to get back to posting. :-)

Updates for those looking for "NEW" {ippity}...release dates are going to twice a year. Next release will be in June. If you would like updates drop a line my way or I will try to keep updates here as I learn of them.

Otherwise....

Working on a couple of projects. My mum & mother-in-law are looking for sympathy and baptism cards...so been working on that...and trying to work thru scraps (since my scrap pile has grown quite large). So....here are a couple cards....

Off to enjoy a warm weekend...mostly outside...continuing to work on garden, cleaning up the yard and whatever bits and pieces our girls allows us to acomplish.

Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving & for those of you that love to shop...you found great deals. Personally I dislike large crowds and avoid the craziness of Black Friday. However my family has spent a stressful (well - I've been the stressed one) few days trying to find good deals on appliances for our soon to be new home.
