VBS 2012

Next week is VBS here.  Our church is using Group VBS curriculum this summer and the theme is SKY (Everything is Possible with God).  I'm leading the crafts for the week and my good friend and I decided to add a prayer journal/God sighting's bit to crafts each day.  I've created a journal for each child that includes the bible point, verse, & story and a spot for prayers/God sightings.  The cover will have a photo of the child attached toward the end of the week.

Supplies needed to create:

8.5 x 11 labels - you can cut in half  to fit on each side of folder

I had fun playing with this design...using twine...and glitter...not sure if it is my favorite...but it was fun!  Nothing like trying something new. :-)

Growing in Unity - Day 2

Day 2 ....of Growing in Unity...

I just LOVE the new Phyllis Harris stamps!  I used the Your Wings Exist set.  Love the images and to make it all the better my favorite bible verse!

I love canvas....and my new gelatos too....

SO...hence my creation...a combo of many of my faves. 

(The image of the girl is a bit blurred...and I tried to make it clearer...but in the end ...even with clearer images...I came back to this on as my favorite.

(?Why? my favorite?  Because in the midst of a beautiful sunset or sunrise...with the wind blowing thru your hair...and you soaking in the glory of God....you fade...dream...blur out the frustrations of life and drink in the Lord's restful peace.)
